CES 2009: IOGEAR's HDMI-Compatible KVM Debuts

KVM switches are nothing new, but until now none have supported the now-popular HDMI standard. IOGEAR debuted their GCS1792 2-port and GCS1794 4-port HDMI-compatible KVMs at CES last week. They offer USB2.0 sharing, and are HDMI 1.3b and HDCP compliant. Both support 1080p displays, Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio, and asynchronous hotkey switching as well. Look for them to drop later this month, and expect them to start at $299.99.
