Assuming you are talking about the Radio Shack system, I have been using this for about 3 years, have traded phones - just got a new $10 tip for the dongle - and had no problems.
As an extremely frequent traveler it has one additional advantage, it allows me to leave the regular chargers for my laptop, phone, and ipod at home while this system stays in my suitcase full-time. No more worries about whether I remembered to pack all the necessary chargers for each trip.
On a more english-related note...it would be "all told" not "all tolled"

I use the Chargepod from Callpod, it can do 6 devices at once, and it's not as clunky as the iGo.
